Deaths Deadly Deed

Deaths Deadly Deed

A Poem by E.j.aka.Hannah

Pulsing...

My heart is racing...

The blood is flowing

through my veins,

out my head

On the dust and in the water,

He's gone,

is he gone?

It hurts,

it hurts,

I must get up,

my heart,

my head,

my blood has been shed,

unwillfully,

unwanted,

The heart slows,

NO!

Dont stop, please,

Jesus let me live one more day,

I want to see the glory once more,

I want to see my mother again.

Not to die in this ally called Sin,

Im dying,

She feels it,

She knows,

She fights.

I need....I need....

Death,

Its a beautiful thing.

I really felt being pulled in the depths of hallowed despair here, the piece flows easily and the emotion bleeds beautifully. Bravo!

No matter how high a 'high' can take someone--they always want to come back. Almost always...

I see a couple layers in your poem...and that's good.

Nice work.
