BelovedA Poem by hellamanOh! Where art thou my beloved? As the cold breeze of the night engulf my stricken body, Which bringeth light into my placid, noble and comely heart? Memories of my beloved flows like a fountain of river, at sunset, These memories have become a pillar unto which I hold in my lonely nights. The dawning of each day makes flee every dark cloud of lonelinessWhich gives me the assurance of beholding your beautiful and glaring smiles, Enchanted with lovely dimples once again; Your sweet smell resurrects my heart beat and your kiss Refreshes the inner most part of my being. Your beauty will linger continually in my mind and heart forever,If I undertake to aver of what value you are to me. Words alone would not suffice, But I can say you mean more than myriad reserves of precious gems. © 2011 hellaman |
