Kismet

Kismet

A Poem by Scott Troy

Divine Providence
Sheer luck and abstracts
A romantic apriori
The question
Lingering on both our tongues
The stranger who's hand pushes
Both our hearts together
We fit
Amongst conflict and uncertainty
The most intricate pattern
A tiedye of love in earnest
Paths that diverge only to meet again
And again
You are my pulse
The uplifting sentiment that greets me each morning
The soft caress
That sees me to sleep
A raven haired angel
My sassy partner in crime
I'd walk to the gallows hand in hand
When we are apart I feel you
Your heart longing for me
Your love comforting me
My love keeping you aloft
A beautiful kite
In an azure sky
Even now I miss you
Want you
My only horcrux
Your splendor the tapestry
Set in my heart
I love an am loved in return
You bless me
My cherished saint of immaculate affection
I picture us
An 80s tinged Polaroid
My favorite actress on celluloid
We do have a road to walk
Sometimes not easy
Yet we walk it together
We will make it through
I'll honestly love you forever
