Climb hazard

Climb hazard

A Poem by Scott Troy

I've learned to let go
In front of a sheer granite face
Treacherous and daunting
I've grown
As a whole
Amidst the razor Sharp shelf
Timid
Wanting
I've lost members of my team
Either from their own perilous acts
Or my push to move forward
Some losses easy
Others fleeting
Like empty ambers
Yet I press onward
You rang true
When you said things would get harder
Leaving behind what I was before
Searching for a meaning for
I can't look back now
The summit speaks to me
I'll proceed
My heart tis of thee

I found some great parallels in this poem, perhaps about life itself and moving forward despite the losses.
