Hold my belt

Hold my belt

A Poem by Scott Troy

I woke up to a thought of you.
Crisp an clear like an autumn day.
I've sank into you.
An endless dream of serenity.
I don't think of us fighting up hill.
I wonder of us fighting all the way.
You light my night.
Gas lights and subtle kisses.
Scratch my back.
Tell me the same stories.
Time and again.
I'll always love you.
I'll sing while you drive babe.

dear Scott... a unique style of poetry...
I met my husband at Bronco Billy's country western club. After dancing a number of nights, he asked me while dancing to a slow song, to hold the back of his Belt. We have been slow dancing all these years. truly, Pat

This is lovely, wistful, flowing... a questioning of what exists and the future. It definitely implies the comfort of a familiar and intimate love.. one in which partners have the intuition to just go along together and sense the rhythm of things without even speaking. This is beautiful!
