A Poem by Ellie Cohen

In order to write one must more or less acquire fearlessness

And, as people say and rightfully so, to be able to stay alone with yourself

The opposite of writing, I think, is daydreaming -

It is always bonded to procrastinating

What a horrid shame and honestly what a loss

to have so many words and lives trapped within oneself

And yet to not find the courage (is it courage)

In this line of thoughts (unspeakable) writing seems to me

To require the very same forces one must call before they attempt a prayer

Like silencing your squirmy little human before dealing with your day

With the necessary dose

Of dignity

One must acquire fearlessness or I don't give a crapness. Writing is strange because who really knows where it comes from, it is just there and some like it and some don't/ Your little piece here is very cool.
