When did the moon come out in such splendour

Shining on my path of life?

When did the dawning of a new day

Creep up on a soul that was sound asleep?

When did the puzzle of my life fit into

The jigsaw of assorted memories?

Was it the day I met you?

Was it the first words you wrote on my heart?

Or. was it the love of the divine that allowed me

To find my beloved?

Gentle poet I am a prisoner of your poems…

A captive of your endearing words and

Willingly surrender to your love

Forever yours…
