NATURE'S PALETTE

NATURE'S PALETTE

A Poem by Helena

When each day’s brilliant yellow dawn

drifts slowly into view

I paint my mood into a happy hue

Splashing sapphire’s blue jewels and

ocean dipped with fluffy ice cream clouds

melting the horizon makes nature applaud

My imagination responds to the beauty of

a palette where lives true harmony

I mix my emotion-filled coloured symphony

With mellow sketching of mountains and snow

capped peaks, dipping valleys into pastures green

I draw things that can be seen and unseen

I smudge my canvas with rose red glow,

tangerine and violet oils perfumed sweet

art is my passion, I feel quite complete

As heightened senses begin to bloom

from inspiration’s steady flow

the world takes on a different glow

Eventide seems alive with my singing heart

I paint until the sun goes down

so emersed in this sea of creativity I just might drown

With charcoal night approaching fast

I dot my art with little stars colours of a rainbow’s blush

I pack my paint and brushes away in nature's gentle hush….

oh Helen what a wonderful write..how so dreamy..how nice
with each happy dawn..i start amazed
paint my mood into happy hue
imagination runs wild and fast
to pick up the glory and harmony i see
my mind starts to paint..mountains and snow
peaks capped in white..vallies running wide in pastures so green
and i draw all things seen and unseen
inspiration hightened from inspiration steady flow
the world is just taking a beautiful glow
i paint till sun goes down..feeling loos of any time or space
and as comes the night..come running to give their color to my drawings
as i pack my paints and brushes and hurry away like the scene is closing
lovely write

I think I already reviewed this. Can't see on this old blackberry.
I thought this was redefining of magic. WonderfullY woven with the truth. Nature cerainly influences mY mood. Most depicable details your colors. It was like looking at ross's lesson "Joy of Paint" something. Thank you. Loved it

What a gorgeous view of nature you've painted for us in this lovely poem! An artist's brush could not have easily matched the palette of color in your words. Nature gives us an awesome gift of beauty, and you have done her justice. :-) Sharon

I love this nature piece, very good work; I dabble in a little nature poetry of my own. I dabble more in real nature but that is by providence as well as choice. I love the mountain forest with all its streams and creatures; it is my heritage and I wouldn't have it any other way. I feel your passion here for the land, the sky and the unspeakable beauty in the painting of God. Very nice.

Oh My.........beautiful, just beautiful! Your descriptive use of words of color for so many aspects of our world, and the life in it gifts colors of every hue to splash across a day and night.
It's much like looking at a kalidoscope of images with prisms of light dancing o're the room.
