THE INNOCENTSA Poem by Helena
They sat by moonlight’s glow of sprinkled stars pledging their undying love… the sky lit up with the redness of Mars in their arms they held the world of love to their breasts and the promise of Venus’ deliverance imprinted on their hearts ~
the moon disappeared in the midnight sky to thrust these lovers in ebony space to the point beyond ecstasies’ petalled path won from the struggle of two lost lovers drawn by gravity to each others arms ~
Eager lips pressed and love whispered sonnets written in the passion of amore’s pen of righteousness they lay in each others arms then with the peace and tranquillity of innocents they slept and dreamed their dreams forever ~~
