SANDSTORM

SANDSTORM

A Poem by Helena

SANDSTORM

You breezed into my desert life

A fresh wind of fortune

For a brief moment we were happy

Soon sweeping across the sand hills of

The lunar landscape of my mind

A labyrinth maze of emotions spilt

as passion whipped into a raging

Sandstorm of heartbreak and despair ~

~~~
I did not plan to succumb to your irresistible
Mind and seductive ways
Now all I have left is your picture in a frame
those brown eyes following my every
Footstep across my Sahara existence ~
~~~

very beautiful with lovely images that stay with us... "following my every/ Footstep across my Sahara existence ~" impossible! Your existence, as is shown to us, is a deep equatorial forest full of life and nuances!

I think every love has its tragedy for the world has become a tragedy. Good write on the desert that is left for us to walk in after tragedy. Our hope is always on the other side of the desert is it not? Thanks for sharing your talent with words.
