A DIFFERENT HUE

A DIFFERENT HUE

A Different Hue

The stars far away with diamonds cold

gone  the warm hearth of a heart to thaw

our love story penned ne'er to unfold

the blight of the moon chills to the core

Heart empty, emotions worn

spirit broken with your uncaring ways

with all hope gone a soul tattered and torn

I know one day you will have to pay

The stars now seem to be a different hue

distant remote as your love was to me

the broken promises to remain true

you played your game, I lost you see

You left me in an lamentable plight

o' please tell me what gave you that right ~

The poems of lost love and unfair treatment deguised as true love. Pain turns a heart cold vengful.

Heart empty, emotions worn

spirit broken with your uncaring ways

with all hope gone a soul tattered and torn

I know one day you will have to pay

A poem in its truest form. thanks for sharing.

The coldness comes out of this poem only to warm the readers feelings for you. The language and the use of it is rhythmic to say the least.

That is a good question. I have often wondered the same thing. They just seem to think that because we are their spouse, they can do whatever they want. We have to set them straight.
