THE WHISPERERS

 

They, the weaver of daydreams

The gypsies of your enquiring mind

Leading you on paths to worlds unknown ~

 

They, the gentle whisperers

Sending thoughts to heavenly heights

The lights lit within you with eternal flames ~

 

They fly to the moon on angels wings

to gather the moon dust of ideas

Where seeds of creativity grow  ~

 

In fragrant rainbow gardens of peace

They dazzle eyes with glorious visions

Until emersed and swimming ~ 

 

 

In sea of beauty beyond a poet’s imagination

They are the eternal dreamers since time began

The mystics deep within your writer's soul ~

 

The unwritten words within you awakened by their caresses

They are the kisses from the muse you serve ~

Beautiful opening lines, exquisitely descriptive that set the tone for the balance of this wonderful poem. Of all the lovely lines, my favorite is the closing lines:

"The unwritten words within you awakened by their caresses
They are the kisses from the muse you serve ~"
