Soliloquy To A Bard

 

 

Touch my heart again with

Your Bard's charm of amore

Penned by flickering candlelight

With ancient quill dipped in

Scarlet ink of passion's write ~

Eclipsing the moon, your hands

Go right through me like ghosts...

Walls crumbling inhibitions

When the light of your love

Shines on my lonely soul ~

 

~

 

Poet of my dreams

Inspiration of my muse

Let not the distance between us

Extend to outer realms of existence

Lost among the remote pages of

stars once more

I long for my poet soul mate~

 

~

 

Innocents amidst our revolving suns

We've travelled eons to discover

A love-story lost in time

Revealed across the oceans of

A universal page

By Angels whispers and

Written with the pen of eternity ~

 

~

 

I scan the vastness of enchantment's

book....under canopy of star light's

diamond tiara the crowned completion

of our story....

Until then I bask in your words of perfection ~
