Some measure of peace

poem

Thinking about past times swiftly passed by

tis a wonder when one thinks about life's

many simplisitic complexities 

 

that God did make us His image 

not only but with indended purpose 

for good works set out 

 

even before we were born 

but thoughts now gravitate to reasons

beyond measured thoughts 

 

of how often life's many experiences 

cannot completely be explained

for the manner in which

 

they came to be or why 

yet as master Yoda says there is no

why there is only the Force so in thinking

more of the matter as one 

 

often does I have come to 

some measure of peace that one can only 

be attained by the LORD our God because 

 

His grace and peace is sufficient 

despite my misunderstanding and many imperfections

my measure has come at last

 

so when passers wander by and ask of

I'll tell you why that here and now

obedient to the LORD is where I lie
