How Sweet it is

Wrote this poem when someone gave me news of returning to service; but the person who told me never wished for me to do so.

How Sweet it Is…

How sweet it is thy heavenly grace

To meet and greet with fellow brother in Christ

 

Speaking words of reconciliation restoration

Of movement from what was and may be again soon

 

Fills my heart with joy’s adoration kind

Embrace of time away from service dearly missed

 

Brothers and sisters in Christ of whom

Time had shared with their lives triumphs and defeats

 

Happiness beyond words best explanation

Sweeps across my mind, heart and soul engulfing me

 

In Jesus’s warm embrace and thoughts now

Turn to the near future of thy plans declared by Father’s voice

 

A new time has come into this life

Of new beginnings of greater understanding of Son’s righteousness

 

Transformed inside out from time with healing

grace and truth learning given from wisdom through experience cultivating

 

better understanding of one’s gifts given from above

designed for good works in accordance to the LORD’s purpose and Kingdom

 

peace and joy fill me up and I am undone

thank you Father, thank you Holy Spirit and thank you Lord Jesus!
