Constantly together, forever apart Part IIA Poem by Jared Noliscontinuation of my poem inspired by Ladyhawklight of mid day's sun glimmers as twilight approaches the earth yet mind does gravitate to yonder friend who's awake for nights birth
small simple silly lad whose a thief that many call the mouse traveling many hours we come to linger at a strangers farmhouse
darkness creeps as it casts long shadows upon the world I begin to change the moon calls out to me my humanity fades to animals exchange
how often wish that this curse upon myself and Isabeau I could lift but the nighttime comes without hesitation without mercy does shift
vision blurring the wolf takes over chasing a deer threw the wood more beast than man returning to the mouse and fair lady is good
nigh time comes and goes remembrances of night forgotten waking from distant slumber never knowing events misbegotten
loneliness calls out as ladyhawk's cry is heard overhead high above me preparing to make journey home ending this curse so we may be free © 2013 Jared Nolis |
