Silver Glass

Silver Glass

A Poem by Jared Nolis
"

poem about Lord Aragorn

"

Wishing golden radiant light shrine

winds brush still silently weary face

many years white tree's hopes sign

hearts silver glass fragile grace

heir white's city passed away

long journey's changes life

alas shadows long cover day

tis many roads filled strife

stone burdens do press

on hopes silver glass

wars storms often duress

crush silver broken glass

does journey ever end

longing lingers still

hearts souls seem mend

hopes light does fill

I like the non sequiturs in this piece. Each two lines feel separate and yet they seem to make a whole...a quest perhaps of long duration and hardship ending with hope.
