I meant that the promises that have been made to me seem to become shackles and I would rather they just remain in the head of the man, if you can not commit to a promise simply do not make it. A lover who can not hold his tongue when making grandios statements of eternal love and devotion is not necessarily a liar, but more often that not comes up short. I'd rather just be in love for the moment without having to contimplate this fallacy.
Well, I do keep my promises, but I've only made like 2 in my life, nothing as foolish as "I'll never cheat on you" - I have integrity, afterall...
A lover who can't hold his tongue
that might not be a bad thing for a woman, physically at least lol though psychically, perhaps a bit more damaging...there's nothing more dangerous than a man deluded that he's in love.
Men should just shut the f**k up, unless they mean what they say. This is what Jesus meant when he said, "Verily, I say unto you, that that which comes out of your mouth is more important than what goes in" or as Buddha says, "treat your words like gems"
I'm a little on the neurotic side, and you may think I know exactly how this goes but I can assure your following the lost.
I couldn't find my way, so I made my own, which isn't right but it's all I.. more..
