   In the night we are

  The day gives way to doubt

Scared into illusion

   Sobered by reality

Can what we have be lost..

   Trembling

       Frightened

 

Distracted in the day

  Your words like banners

     Declarations I can't shake

Want to keep

  Want to bind in stars

    Want to make permanant

 

Can I not make permanant a love

 Without resorting to a scar

Can you not be a hand in mine?

A kiss upon my lips..

 

I kiss of you my love

  Full with passion and want

Need and desperation

 

Leave not

Tremble with me

Make heavy my heart

With the burden of yours

Amazing emotion in this poem. The feeling of obsession and worry of being alone haunts a lot of people.
My favorite line has to be:

Man, this is one great poem. LOVED IT!

First of all, I like the structure. It looks like a sound wave.
Some of your stanzas seem to exist on spikes. Thats pretty
cool.

Those likes really reached out and struck me. I normally like stories of empowerment, but this poem has a desperation that made me want what
this person wanted just as badly as they did. You really have talent. I felt

Show the fear, the uncertainty, I know I've felt like this. To say you are drunk with love is great, it's how it feels, and life can be so sobering it's sad.
