Liability

Liability

A Poem by heido

I have a discovery to make

A love to find

A price to pay

My love, my liability

The oppertunity to mix tounges

With feelings

With hearts

With long night

With longer days

Oh how I extend

From head to two

A straightening of myself

A stiff fear of a new feeling

I could like a boy like you

Love a man, just like you

But I will it not

I bade my feet to run and I will

Tears make way to wings

Taking flight

Taking all that can be

Leaving all that was and should be

Run away sweet child am I

Skirts lifted and whispers in my ear

Oh lover how you will mourn

I'm gona already beneath your touch

I'm slipping beneath your floor boards

Where you well shed tears

A binding of myself

Into your memories

Search for me not, for I barely exist

I existed in breif silhouettes

You hold a ghost

A amazing poem. You took the reader on a journey of discovery. So many strong lines in the poem. I like the ending a lot. A outstanding poem.

Beautiful, though it needs some proofin. I love the imagery you use. Some lines look as if you mixed words.

From head to two (do you mean toe?)

I'm gona already beneath your touch (do you mean gone?)

Where you well shed tears (do you mean will?)

Still altogether a beautifvul piece
