Teen Mothers

Teen Mothers

A Poem by trainwreck
"

Things are never as they seem.

"

She had one chance to say no,

But she decided to let go,

To give up everything that mattered

Just ten short seconds ago,

Her world was shattered

But it was real,

Just Unknown.

Her boyfriend heard about her.

He wanted to break her heart

And show her how his world fell apart,

But he believed a dream,

(He was just as "Crazy" as she)...

He heard her love song,

And held her close.

Gave up a life he'd almost known.

Her "Friends" called her

A s**t and called her trash,

She lost everything supposed to last.

But her boyfriend took it like a man,

Became her husband,

And took a kid that wasn't his.

And they said she was another Jewish w***e,

Another rat with her tassels on the floor....

She couldn't make it to the doctor

When she started having labor pains,

She didn't let it stop her,

She had a baby

In a tiny hick town alone,

Without her mom, but with a song.

Her husband saw his step-son,

And gave his virgin wife a kiss.

They whispered in the dark...

"Let's call him Jesus."

When I started to read this I was thinking of teen mother, but the end surprised me so, so much. At first I looked at the tag of Christmas and I thought it was crazy. Haha This was an amazing read. I believe as long as you remember Jesus then Christmas is special.

I like the twist.
First this comes off as a modern day
teenage pregnancy, and then, wow...
It's amazing, the last line couldn't be anymore
perfect and breath taking.

"her husband saw his step-son"
that line there, it makes you think.
Many people believe that the only
way to have a picture perfect family is to have mother, father and child.
But Jesus truly did have a step-father, I never really thought of it that way.
I love how you wrote this.
