Melancholy of Melting Snow

Melancholy of Melting Snow

A Poem by heckos
"

Baltimore, where I attend college, received about three feet of snow in the end of January this year. It was absolutely wonderful, but snow never lasts and within a short time warm rain came.

"

February dawned damp and warm

A dreary, soft-chilled all day storm

With gentle rain and stone-gray skies

Last week’s blizzard quickly dies
