drowning.

drowning.

A Story by heavvur

underwater

drowning i am.

bubble surface.

everything gets slower.

i can't feel a thing.

my life flashes before my eyes only it's just as long the second time through as it was the first.

i close my eyes and imagine you by my grave dressed in all black. you lay a cold sunflower there. one tear travels down your cheek and lands on the hard soil.

things speed up. the feeling of cleanliness fulfills me.

my breathing stops. my eyes flutter shut. my hands fingerspell your name. i exhale my last breath and say, "i don't blame you for this." i always knew it would happen this way...

it was easiest.
