walls.

walls.

A Poem by heavvur
"

ha.

"
the walls are back up
they won't leave me alone
they stand tall and poignant
in my story of the unknown

they are made of the heaviest metal
and of the hardest brick
they can withstand any fire
any toil, go ahead. try any trick

you can't tear them down
no matter what you do
you'll just have to climb over
my heart you must persue

i thought they tumbled down years ago
but they slowly built back up
i wish they'd just go away
and not chuckle and sip from their cups

they make fun of me
and squeeze tight to hurt
get out, i scream
as my blood starts to spurt

i can't stand it! i yell
go away, i shout
but they just get tighter
so i sit down and pout

i wish they'd crumble
i wish they'd fall
i wish they'd tumble
but they keep standing tall
