gotta keep my focus

random thoughts. not sure what it was about. wrote this freshman year.

Wild horses play
In the white ocean spray
The bugs bite,
The ponies fight,
While I slip away.

I slip away from it all;
The pain and the stress of the fall,
The annoying ones that follow,
And with hearts that are hollow,
I keep my eye on the ball.

I have to keep my focus,
Or all of the others' "hocus pocus"
Will keep me from His plans.
I walk striaght into His hands.
While the wild ponies dance.

And i remember what I must
Which is that old cliche:
'Do what you want today.
'Cause someone might take it away
And turn it into dust.
