Mercy

Mercy

A Poem by Diana Lynn Hill/Angell

Mercy

In my darkest hours
And nowhere to hide.
When I needed the answer
Time seem to slip on by.
My trials were so heavy
I failed beneath the load.
I cried to the Maker
Have mercy on my soul.
Out of my despair
He heard my cry.
He wraps his arms around me
Brought me to his side.
He took my broken vessel
Dried up all my tears.
As mercy fell about me
His peace replaced my fears.
