Tree Roots

Tree Roots

A Poem by MisguidedGhost
"

I tried symbolizing the tree roots as the youth of our generation growing up and some going and striving for great things but others stuck in the shadows not knowing what to do in life

"

Tree roots grow so fast

Yet so slow

So sudden

So calm

They wither away the earth

They give us moisture in the soil

They dry away the plants

They are old and wise

They are inexpierenced and niave

So innocent to the world around them

They can create beautiful things as they age over time

Some seperated from the sun

They cannot glow like us

So they sleep under the dirt

But that's not where they belong

Interesting, I like how you described them with,
"They cannot glow like us

So they sleep under the dirt

But that's not where they belong "
