Cool sunset flows

Cool sunset flows

A Poem by fearlessinHim
"

This was inspired by a story of a mother and her daughter in my church.

"

Cool sunset flows

making golden rivers run over hope-smoothed rocks.

Vibrant colors sharp in the sky

pink like hope

fading blue like faith

deep kindness, rustic orange

Golden glories

Shining forth from eyes harsher than the fire of the sun

And all peace is found in verdure of the Creator-sustained earth

            we walk on.

Cool sunset wraps around trembling arms.

Precious hands held steady with the love of Your child.

Intertwined in joyful blonde curls rests the sun,

giving grace.

The vibrancy of the sunset is Grace.

As it sets,

A whisper promises new mercies

at Rise
