sometimes

Sometimes when I look back I'm not sure what brought me here
Sometimes when I look forward I get consumed with fear
There are times in life when I wish that things could change
And times in life I'd like it if things just always stayed the same
There are so many things that come and go
So many instances that help us grow
So many things that we are to afraid to face
and many memories that can never be replaced
I don't know how I got to where I am today
I am grateful that I somehow found my way
I will take it if I was brought here only by my fears
I will be thankful for all the smiles I have seen on my journey here
I will take what has been given, and slowly give it back
I will accept others for who they are, and accept all that I lack
I will do what's been suggested and all that's been laid out
Things do and can get better, and I say that without a doubt
I love the path I've chosen, and will continue down this way
I am thankfull for the friends I have, and I hope that they will stay.......
