tell them

tell them

A Poem by heather

by: Heather G.

If I die tomorrow, I'd want the world to know,
That my time was up on earth, and just to let me go
Teach my daughter to be kind to everyone, teach her how to fly a kite
Teach my son to controll his temper, and to love and not to fight
Tell them I'm looking down at them, and let them dance in the rain
Tell them to be happy, and let noone cause them pain
Tell my mother that I love her more than she's aware
Tell my father it'll be alright, let him know I'm there
Tell my friends I'll still be there to catch them if ever should they fall
And if they need me there to help them all they have to do is call
Tell everyone I know to love, and have no fear
Let the world know I will mis them, and let them know that I was her

Very interestingly written poem. The formatting is pretty unique, and the entire piece has such a sad feeling of longing and loss that tags along with the reader as they go.
One thing, on your very last line, I believe you left off the "E" in the word "HERE", and an "S" off the word "MISS" Here is how it reads now...
Let the world know I will mis(s) them, and let them know that I was her(e)

I like this, and the way it's written with it's rhyme scheme. :)
