alone

alone

A Poem by heather

I sit here and feel nothing but alone
For now that you're gone I have no place to call home
This place that I live, feels like nothing more than an empty shcack
And nomatter how I try I know there is no going back
Confusion, is a feeling I have grown a custom to
Heartach is something that always feels brand new
I listen to the wind, as it passes through the trees
A scared and lonely girl sits broken on her knees
Tries to turn around
But she is locked there on the ground
Depression over takes all she knew before
However, she knows it's just the closing of one door
There are many more to open
although it's hard when no words have been spoken
Sometimes it's just hard to let go
Sometimes it's just fear of what you'll never know
I would like to sit here and wait
However my actions I over contemplate
And I'm left here feeling nothing at all
Not sure how to get up from this fall
I know I will, and I'll move on
It just still feels so wrong
For you just felt so right,
I'm not one for giving up a fight
I'll sit here with tears on my cheeks, in this place I call home
I'll sit here, and contemplate just being alone
