I love you in shades of blue

I love you in shades of blue

A Poem by Heather Corti
"

I used the color blue to help me describe my love for my husband, who loves the water

"

Dedicated to my husband

You’re  an ocean deep river romance

An iridescent shale sea breeze

A Wedgwood midnight harbor

Old Man River and a fountain of youth

Stonewashed crystal falls

Turquoise water lilies

Pale mist sea foam

A sapphire tranquil sea

A clear water reflection pond

A denim bubbling spring

A periwinkle horizon

A glacier ice smoky wave

A dusty blue night sky

An aqua contemplation

A smooth sailing yacht

My cobalt Neptune

My cerulean lake placid

My indigo island cove

My azure York beach

My seaside Aquarius
