LITTLE TOMMY-TUCKER

By:   Heather Mousseau Corti

Dedicated to our grandson, Thomas

Little Tommy-Tucker

Is Teresa’s younger brother

He loves his jelly sandwiches

But can’t eat peanut butter

Little Tommy-Tucker

Wants to be a trucker

Filling his floor with trucks and trains

And playing in the clutter

Little Tommy-Tucker

Outside he loves to putter

Stalking cats and squirrels and birds

He prides himself a hunter

Little Tommy-Tucker

Loves to eat his supper

Eating all his vegetables

Made with love by mother

Little Tommy-Tucker

To bathe his mommy ushers

‘n snuggled warm all comfy cozy

In bed under the covers

Little Tommy-Tucker

Is Teresa’s younger brother

He’s our precious gift from God

We’d settle for no other!
