UNFOLDING PETALS

UNFOLDING PETALS

A Poem by Heather Burns
"

A flower must be nourished and watered to exist.

"

A flower
must be
left
alone
to grow
in the
heart
of the
gardener.

Feeding
and
watering
is
essential

for her
petals
to
unfold

and show
her
loveliness.

Very lovely.....the way you describe the relationship between the gardener and the flower is quite beautiful. Well penned:)

"...to grow in the heart of the gardener..." This makes me think of a mother's love, who tends to her child first in her heart... Beauty in simplicity. Nicely penned, Heather.
