Betrayal, Love, and Happiness

Betrayal, Love, and Happiness

A Poem by Heartfelt

Betrayal, Love, and Happiness

Betrayal hurts because it’s done by a loved one

A divine love, now tarnished and done.

Suspicion seeps in, distrust takes over,

Like loneliness in winter, cold just hovers.

An ultimate tragedy of humanity,

Inherence of love poisoned by treachery.

When hearts can’t be loyal to the idea of love

When the soul rejects the true essence of love,

Our hearts can't envision the spirit of happiness.

It is unfeasible, a tragic unlikeliness.

When paired with devotion, it’s the nirvana of life

And only when pursued can love be revived.

To experience happiness, embrace what’s within.

To heal from betrayal, forgive and move on.

Life is too short to dwell in the hate.

Make peace with yourself, don’t be a waste.

Dwell on the essence of love and happiness

And pursue the road that leads to bliss.
