Don't

Don't

A Poem by Heartfelt

Don’t

Don’t shrug your shoulders.

Don’t walk with a sigh.

Don’t make demands

And point at the sky.

The wind is cool.

The trees are dancing.

The night is young,

It’s not a night for blaming.

Don’t shake your head.

Don’t roll your eyes.

Don’t accuse the moon

Of sweet little lies.

The sky isn’t dark.

The stars are bright.

There’s still hope

In the air tonight.
