Masquerade Flower

Masquerade Flower

A Poem by Heartfelt

Masquerade Flower

Oh masquerade flower,

Rise to thy hour.

Pursue thy duty,

Don’t let it be.

Disguise her tears,

Conceal her fears,

Shelter her face

With thy petals of grace!

Thank you!
This is a very simple, yet beautiful piece. I almost see your speaker whisper this to his/her mask before entering a party. I love the thrill and anxiety of your words. Well done :)

I love creative and expressive writing. For me it's a tool for maintaining sanity. Writing helps me express the feelings that otherwise drowns me, and leaves me feeling lighter. more..
