FREEDOM

 

Freedom

If freedom is what will take me there,

I say “let it be”.

If so, then I shall float to the sea of nirvana,

Where love isn’t measured but savored,

Never judging nor distorting reality.

A gracious haven for the abused and tortured;

A place where eyes and arms embrace with empathy.

If freedom is what will take me there,

Then I shall stand and say, “LET IT BE!”
