RyanA Poem by HeartfeltThis poem is dedicated to Ryan. He was a navigator on the MAFFS 7 plane that crashed in South Dakota on July 1, 2012. His group's mission was to extinguish the wildfires in South Dakota.Ryan Dear Ryan, our hearts
ache for you! How do I say goodbye
to someone like you? Words can never
justify The great loss I feel
inside. A friendship that
survived distance and years Is now buried by a
heart full of tears. Now you’re gone and
deep sadness fill me, As I reflect on our
history and great memories.
Strong, beautiful,
and charming, A soul that fit the
world’s liking. Amazing smile,
courage, and intelligence, A collection of your
unforgettable essence. I’ve always enjoyed
our conversations, Filled with mutual
love, respect, admiration. Your family was what
you lived for. A proud father, husband,
son, and brother.
I watched you eagerly
as your dreams came true, With a smile on my
face when you delivered the news. A sense of happiness always
filled my heart, There was no other
deserving from the start. You left this world
as a man who was happy, An image I will hold
on to dearly.
I can never forget
our last conversation, You spoke of Rob with
heart-felt elation. If he’s anything like
you, then he’s definitely blessed. He will be loved by
all, like his father, at best. You left him with a
great legacy, A selfless hero for
the world to see. I know you will watch
over him Because that’s what
heroes do. An angel in every
way; that will always be you. RIP 04/03/1977-07/01/2012
