The RippleA Poem by HeartfeltThe Ripple I saw the ripple on
the plundering river It broke the calmness
of the still water. In it the branches
flowed without control As if, the tree lived
its days without a soul. If
only the gravel could keep me up The
tears would then come to a stop. If
I am pulled into the rippling current, Will
I be rescued by each strength I spend? The ripple flowed
into eternity Taking a piece of my
solemnity. My feet dugged itself
in the mud Shielding
my legs from being dragged. ~
