To be Free.

To be Free.

A Poem by Tiarra Templeton
"

Self explanatory.

"
I want to breathe in the smell of the ocean,
Want to taste the sea’s salt at the shore
I want to finally be free to do what I please,
I want to not care anymore

I’d like to start fresh somewhere new, somewhere calm
I’d like to forget all that I know
And when I get scared, I’d like to be prepared
To pick up where I left off and just go

I’ve dreamed of a life that is fearless
And I’ve dreamed of a world that’s at peace
But when you can’t reach your dreams,
Faith falls apart at it’s seems,
And everything that you know is deceased

I’ve hoped for a love everlasting
I’ve hoped for things greater, I won’t lie
Now there’s a great anchor that won’t let me sail,
And every day it get’s harder to try

So maybe I’ll leave, and I won’t come back
Maybe I’ll live life day by day, and they’ll see
That I’m stronger than heartache, dishonesty, and fear
And I won’t let anyone or anything get the best of me
