Lost at Sea.

Lost at Sea.

A Poem by Tiarra Templeton
"

Life. This was to all the people I've met along the way that I swear I will never forget about <3.

"
his chapter comes to an end
And opens a great, new beginning
With sad twists and vague turns
That have sent my thoughts swimming
Into new waves of the future,
While holding on to right now
As I'm pushed past the shoreline
I scream this aloud:

We're all still just kids
Although, not so naive
And we do what we do
Getting drunk, lost at sea
'Cause right now, we don't know,
What comes next in this chapter
So we get lost at sea,
And count on simply laughter

As the waters get deeper
I swear, I'll always remember
The other stages of my life
And those times spent together
With everyone one that I've loved,
And those who left me alone
When my tired arms couldn't fight
Such a strong undertow

And we're all still just kids
Living life, fun and free
And we laugh 'till there's tears
Getting high, lost at sea
With distorted minds,
We float through this next chapter
And we get lost at sea,
'Cause right now, nothing matters
