Write and Wrong.

Write and Wrong.

A Poem by Tiarra Templeton
"

About the need for change, I guess. I'm getting sick of people lately, this kind of describes it?

"
You take a match straight to the sky,
And precision takes it's toll
Flames burst into the sunrise,
While we, we tuck and roll
Cautious, but everlasting
We're smiling, but we know ..
That nothing lasts forever,
So I guess we'll make this grow

I take watercolours to the ocean,
And sudden sadness will arise
Salty tears mix with blue paints,
And inside, my heart it cries
So scared, but I do want this
Do we believe? Well, we can try
To push ourselves forever,
Or at least, until we die

He takes clovers to the forests,
And wealthy life will come around
Each four-leafed, he's so carefree,
Nothing here could bring him down
Naive, but god, he's lucky
So green with envy, now
But never caring about others
Will turn his great, big forest brown

She takes snowflakes to the mountains,
And can only hope for peace and love
Wanting to comfort everyone,
A white blanket falls from up above
She's trusting, but so worried
A constant fight of push to shove
She waits for happiness from humanity
By the side of her small dove

We take a match straight to the sky,
And it burns the forests brown
Our watercolours blend and run,
And ruin the beauty all around
But we don't notice, we're far too busy
Being careless, bitter and wrong
Let's rid ourselves of this ingratitude
And put peace and love where they belong
