Hope in the Rain.

Hope in the Rain.

A Poem by Tiarra Templeton
"

This is pretty self explanatory. Represents hope for something better.

"
There might not be leaves on an evergreen
But at least the snow can make it sing
Our eyes make illusions that say we can dream
Laced with a small dash of sincerity
Is there really a place where hope does come true?
Or do we trust fate to give us things we hang onto?
We express things with words that some never knew
While others try to give reason to why the sea's are still blue
Thinking too hard makes me feel there's no answer
To healing a heartache or curing all cancer
But there's a beauty that lies down under our skin
That gives everyone hope to get up again
Like a warm summer day where the sun's shining down
Or an abundance of lights that light up a small town
We live just to love, and then hold that all in
And hope for the day it comes back again
And those days where we're down,
Well, we look back to those days
Where small droplets of water were just known as rain
We find that sunshine or that small strip of the city
And it reminds us again that hope makes pain pretty
