The One Who Fell

The One Who Fell

A Poem by Mika
"

So this is a short poem written by yours truly during a really hard time in my life. It is my first poem, and it's never been edited, but I hope you like it anyways!

"

Whirling, spinning, twisting,

And screaming towards the ground.

Not a single strand of hair is left above the clouds.

With the wind shrieking around her, it all seems like a dream,

Until her teardrops start to fall in a steady stream.

Then, her feet land on the Earth, burdened yet so free.

Her heart pounds like a waterfall as she heads towards the green.

Her soul is restless, finding peace,

Good or bad is she?

She knows not her power as she walks throughout the fray.

Her footsteps make a guiding path for all who've gone astray.

Yet powers fight inside of her, causing jealousy and rage.

Her spirit's torn to pieces,

will it all be thrown away?
