OBLIVION

OBLIVION

A Poem by Dhaye
"

Am I lost?

"
Hanging, floating
On this
Dark and empty room

Shouting, crying
Like
Feeling in doom

Calling your name
I am
Lost and all alone

Hopeless and blind
For you
Am I unknown

Strong flow of emotions in the poetry my dear friend. You could feel the need and the want of the words. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

Screaming out to be noticed, but no one cares. Reminds me of the premise behind the Neil Diamond song, "I Am I Said!" Longing to be with someone who is no longer in your life. Powerfully emotional write. Lydi**

Thanks for the read and review, Ms. L.
The state of desperation is truly felt in this piece. What I like most about the verse is that it can be subject to different interpretation. It may refer to the state of mind of a rejected lover, or perhaps it may even pertains to our passion which set aside to focus more on other things.

I had to find my muse even through a word. And the word limbo came in mind so here it is. 😁
when we feel no one even knows we exist?
that is the darkest time---and even our rhymes cannot shine a light for us.
by the way, loved how you rhymed in this one.
great scheme...helps us to find our way even without the light.
we need to discover our own self worth and not give a damn whether others care or not.
I believe.
