If this happens while still recovering from an earlier broken relationship, I would imagine it to be devastating. I would imagine it would be difficult to trust again in the future. A sad poem, which is touching to read and well written.

Love this poignant questioning, Hollywood.... We may never obtain a truthful reply to this question, from the absent lover. In our aching heart, there is no excuse. In our intellect, we know. Their love is a mask they wear, to cover an insatiable hunger. One day, it shall devour them also.
