Lay on the grass Stare at the sky The night is a blanket Full of mystery Like love Like you Lay, my love Gaze at me I twinkle Upon you I am the last Shining stellar In this asterism
Very nice, another poem with carefully chosen words that flow beautifully. I took a Latin class in High School, so sometimes the Latin root of specific words hint at their meaning, as was the case in asterism, but it still wasn't a word I have ever used or encountered until today. This word of a day poetry challenge is a wonderful idea, and you are certainly shining like a nova in an asterism with your skill at words. (See, I used that word for the very first time in a sentence!) It is a joy to read your poetry, Dhaye.
