One night I saw a shooting star
I made a fast wish, faster than its fall
I smiled like it was a true success
I felt like the heaven would hear my call

It's your name that I quickly thought
And your heart that I so much adore
I plead that the day I need will come
When you and I walk along the shore

It is our dream to walk hand in hand
You carry me while I shout my love
Our dance and embrace, kiss and hug
Are just proofs of gift we received from above

I love you, my sweetheart, please remember
I will be here for you, I am all yours
I surrendered my heart just for you
I'm keeping your love through the years

One night I saw a shooting star

It made me smile for it was a true success

This piece you penned reminds me again of the time when we were small and me and my siblings and some helper in the house sometimes sleeps on top of our roofs with our pillows and blankets. We chat and have some conversation but at the same time we gaze and turn our eyes in the vastness of the skies and how stars twinkle like diamonds. Its one of the best memories of my early childhood years. In many occasions our eyes caught a glimpse of a falling stars. I think I have wished but I forgot what it was. Not sure if the falling star really heard my wish or perhaps its a myth but nonetheless it was fun to be up there on the roof not thinking of anything else but just simply enjoying the night.

the wish might be quick, but it for the love to last much longer than the shooting star itself...a galaxy to last forever for the two lovers.
