I think it is natural for us to be afraid in the darkest night we choose to journey upon, but along the way, deep within us believes that we'll find light along the way. Stranger place brings Unfamiliar light, so maybe that is why we are more curious to see and go towards that path more, and adapt... perhaps that is how we are as human, we explore, adapt and change for the better good of what we think is right... now i am talking in puzzel... haha, great piece pretty friend....
Nothing to fear except fear itself we tend to fear that which we don't understand rather person place or thing experience is the best teacher resulting from an open hand extended that opened the light of your mind nice explanation here Dhaye

It is inevitable for us to feel fear and anxiety as we get our of our comfort zones and began a journey to an unfamiliar territory. Yet, no matter how strange a place is, we can always find someone willing to guide us in the unfamiliar place. Finding a friend during dark hours is finding hope.
and just that slight slant of light can give us hope...
i like the turnaround in this write....dealing with the darkness and turning it into something cope-able.
That was a neat little fantasy poem, Dhaye and it almost became a story. Actually, you could make that into a short story I think. It showed a lot of imagination and you created a fae place that was both dangerous and magical. Metaphorically it spoke of how you can find a friend in the most unlikely of places and that sometimes this is all you need to see your way out of the darkness. Very well done!

God bless!
Despite the fear and apprehension of the surroundings, that one little encounter did so much to alleviate the dark foreboding atmosphere!
Yes indeed friendships can be built in the most unlikeliest of places, faith and courage are virtuous qualities, and so well conveyed in this finely penned piece of poetry, splendidly written Dhaye !
